as i watch the rain,
and the trees sway.
i realise how much you actually mean to me.
your gentle smile i miss,
with that last kiss,
leaves me with something to cherish.
the many times we've spent together,
without something to fear or tremble,
it's now all gone, all lost to time.
transatlantism is too long, too hard,
unable to keep up with.
boredom will come,
troubles the same.
would you still want me beside you?
chilling in the open,
tanning on the rooftops,
or walking in the sunlit boulevards?
i wish you would never leave.
but heaven has made this will,
and it's all written in gilded ink.

whenever, whereever.
